Samwoong Lees Octopus Chair
Samwoong Lee who is a Korean designer had designed and created Octopus Chair
The designer describes this as: Natural mother-of-pearl, as the material is called, has been used to neither make this furniture. This material neither had the same color nor the same pattern. With the help of an angle throwing light and a situation, the pattern, the color and the reflexibility has been changed to give the natural mother-of-pearl a new look. The octopus chair is made by using pieces of innumerable mother-of-pearl which are placed circumferentially around the entire body of an Octopus chair to give it a shape of an orange. To maintain the orange shape of the chair, the angle throwing light is changed. So the shape comes out as a unique design.
